This camera is located at the office of the Phoenix Valley Bird Garden. The picture often shows the mists and clouds of Mt. Dongding and Mt. Fenghuang (Phoenix), and the green water of Lake Cilin.

The Phoenix Valley Bird Garden is located in the Phoenix Valley Scenic Area, not far from Sitou (Hsitou). This is the country's first aviary built with government investment. The serene and lovely bird park is home to more than a hundred rare and valuable birds from throughout the world. It is the large aviary in Southeast Asia, and contains the widest assortment of birds. This is a great place for combining learning with enjoyment.

The road to the Phoenix Valley Bird Garden leads by many tea plantations and the lovely Lake Cilin. The mountains and lake here are reminiscent of Switzerland, and the lake is a good spot for fishing. Situated in a mountain-encircled valley, Lake Cilin was created as a reservoir close to 160 years ago. It was originally known as "Dashueiku." The lake once supplied water to the tea-producing areas of Mt. Dongding and Mt. Cilin, but is now just a gorgeous scenic attraction.
